Product Descriptions

EPC attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, EPC does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of any EPC product is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by EPC itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

 
Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for items purchased from EPC pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier or, if such items must cross an international border, then risk of loss and title pass to you when they clear customs.

 
Shipping to Remote Locations

Remote locations are postal codes that are difficult to serve.

Examples are:

  • Towns far from a shipper’s hub
  • Towns that are infrequently served by shippers
  • Canada Post Air Stage Locations (where mail must be airlifted at certain times of the year)

Only Standard shipping is available when the shipping address is a remote location. Please allow an additional 2-5 days for delivery to these locations.

Some items cannot be shipped to remote locations. If an item cannot be shipped to remote locations, this information appears on the product detail page.

 
Returns, Refunds and Title

To return parts for credit, Purchaser must first contact EPC to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#). All parts must be returned freight and/or shipment prepaid. Note: parts returned without an RA#, freight collect, or letter of explanation may be refused. Parts which have been used in any way or manner, including installation or incorporation into other equipment, shall NOT be eligible for return with or without an RA assigned.

EPC does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at our facility. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, EPC does not take title to the refunded item.

Returns are subject up to a 25% (twenty five percent) restocking charge. Refusals are subject to the same restocking charge plus the cost of outbound and return freight charges and /or fees incurred by the Company due to shipment refusal.

 
Limited Stock Parts

When we indicate that an item is “limited stock” it means that we don’t carry continuous stock of this item. These items are not popular, so we purchase minimum quantities of them as needed to fulfill orders (we also include an icon that states, “limited stock” on the product page). Simply put, it is nearly impossible to stock all the items needed for every piece of equipment. However, because of our relationships with manufacturers and suppliers we are able to have these parts expedited to our facility. Depending on the part and where it originates,  limited stock parts could take anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks to receive at our facility. If there are limited stock items on your order we can arrange to ship them separate from our stocked items, please call us to arrange this.

It is important to note that if you select Express Shipping for limited stock items those items will leave the warehouse and be shipped via Express after the parts are received. Express shipping DOES NOT speed up processing time. Occasionally our suppliers are able to process and ship items quicker; however, this is based on a number of factors that are out of our control. If you need a limited stock item quicker please call us (1-888-255-2372) Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST. Often times we are able to get more accurate processing/delivery times once we know what items you need, when you need them and where you are located.

 
Stocked Parts

Any parts that do not have the “limited stock” badge can be considered “stocked”. This means that we have dedicated warehouse space for that item or access to stock from our suppliers. Stocking items gives us more flexibility and control which enables us to process and ship orders quickly (Typically same day if placed before 11am EST)! If you order after 11am EST we will do our best to get it out that day, but at the very latest it will ship the next business day. It is important to note that ship days are business days so weekends and holidays don’t count.

Please recognize our inventory does fluctuate as orders are placed online, by phone or over email. For this reason,  on occasion we have faced situations with low stock. This could lead to short delays in shipping your order. Many of our parts have quick lead times and we can typically get stock within a few days. If this does occur for your order, we will communicate this to  you and do our best to get the part to you as fast as possible.

EPC PRODUCTS OR SERVICES AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) AND OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE EPC SERVICE ARE PROVIDED BY EPC ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING. EPC MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE EPC SERVICES OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) OR OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE EPC SERVICES, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE EPC SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, EPC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABLE QUALITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. EPC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE EPC SERVICES, INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) OR OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE EPC SERVICES; ITS SERVERS, ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, OR E-MAIL SENT FROM EPC SERVICES ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. Site Policies, Modification, and Severability

Please review our policies, posted on the EPC site. These policies also govern your use of EPC Services. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, Service Terms, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.


Indemnification

Purchaser agrees to indemnify EPC and hold it harmless against any and all claims, liability, loss, damage or expense, including reasonable counsel fees, arising from or by reason of any modifications or alterations made by Purchaser. If a Customer modifies or alters any part, in any manner whatsoever, or uses any part in departure from recommended performance specifications, said customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EPC from all liability and expenses based on damage to property or injury to or death of any person arising out of or attributed to such modified or altered part. FURTHER EPC will not accept any such altered or modified part for credit to customers account.
