Once the adaptor is properly secured use a hand grinder and grind off the seized hardware. Please make sure your using proper safety glasses or shield before grinding. Clean the surface of the adaptor using a soft grinding disk to eliminate any sharp edges that can damage pad and effect its durability. Install new pad with the thick side material facing up to make contact to vehicle pick up points. Install hardware with flat bolt head on top surface and fasten with 1/4 nuts and washers supplied. Torque the nut down until the flat side sinks flat to pad surface. repeat these steps 3 more times and your installation is complete. Your lifting equipment is ready to be safely used. PAD
MAINTENANCE TIP: Keeping your lift pads clean at all times will extend the Life of the pad. Once the vehicle has been removed and before loading another a quick wipe will keep oils and other chemical from deteriorating rubber material.
